For generations we have been taught to ‘Get An Education’ and to expect ‘An honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work’. So children strive to get their grades so that they can advance through the education system with the best skills and knowledge in an effort to achieve better rates of pay than their competitors in the work marketplace. Children are taught the same ways of studying from the same type of syllabuses as they have always been and yet much of the knowledge that we give them is clearly outdated for a rapidly evolving and changing world.
We inform our students that they should stay on at school and work through the higher education system as this is the only way to set oneself ahead of others yet most graduates leave university to find that they are unable to find the type of job or salary that they have spent years preparing for only to join the ranks of less educated people swapping time for money in an attempt to earn a crust to allow them to survive.
Many are stuck in the trap of living unsatisfied lives not achieving the dreams and ambitions that they worked so hard to achieve. Whilst the richest of people seem to have found a way to acquire their wealth through the effort of others or by finding a way to provide something to people at a price without using the traditional Business methods. What is it then that separates the ‘Haves’ from the ‘Have-nots’?
The advantages of technology and the ability to have systems working around the clock alongside the benefits of auto-repeating processes that only need to be set up once reduces both the amount of effort and cost involved in providing these products and services have been the real enablers for many people who have generated great wealth through the proper application of the world’s newer technologies. For many who have found a way to make this new way work, the rewards are magnificent.
